Hi, I'm Anosi. A creative designer who loves anime almost as much as I love designing interfaces that make a difference.

I design things that feel simple, and a bit human.

Four-plus years designing and building digital products, and a lot longer obsessing over research, systems and the details people notice without knowing why.

About

I'm a UI/UX designer who likes the messy front half of a project: talking to people, questioning my own assumptions, and turning what I hear into something clear.

Outside of work you'll find me clearing my watchlist, knee deep in a manga binge, dancing my heart out to some gqom, at the gym, or hunting for a good time out with friends.

About

Hi, I'm Anosi — a UI/UX designer based in Birmingham, UK.

I like the messy front half of a project: talking to people, questioning my own assumptions, and turning what I hear into something clear. I've spent the last four-plus years doing that across financial services, e-commerce and smart home products, and I just wrapped up an MSc in User Experience Design.

A few fragments

How it started

I started out in Computer Science, closer to the development side of things. But the more products I worked on, the more I found myself thinking about the people using them — where they got stuck, why something that worked didn't feel good to use. That curiosity pulled me toward UX: self-directed learning first, then formal training, then UI/UX design full-time.

Education

MSc User Experience Design

Birmingham City University
Sep 2025 – Sep 2026

UI/UX Design Certification

Stutern Graduate Accelerator
Mar 2022 – Mar 2023

BSc Computer Science (Information Systems)

Babcock University
Aug 2016 – Jun 2020

The MSc gave me space to properly dig into questions I'd only brushed up against in practice — how people understand interfaces, how accessibility shapes design, and how we actually evaluate whether something works. My dissertation looked at how different explanation strategies in conversational AI affect trust over repeated interactions.

Experience

Working in-house taught me that design rarely starts with a blank canvas — there are existing systems, constraints and competing priorities, and the job is working out what actually needs to change.

How I like to work

Start with curiosity.

I don't jump straight into the interface. I like understanding what's actually happening first — talking to users, reading requirements, mapping a journey, or just asking why something works the way it does.

Question the obvious.

I'm interested in the moments where the first solution isn't necessarily the right one. What did I assume? What did I miss? What does the evidence actually say?

Make it clear.

Once I understand the problem, I enjoy turning messy information into something people can navigate — where research, flows, interaction and visual design come together.
